Terms of Use

These terms apply to the WAVEX Schools website, the live demo and the school app. By using them you agree to these terms. A school's subscription may also be covered by a separate agreement or order form; if so, that agreement applies first.

1. The service

WAVEX Schools is an online school management app. Features depend on the school's plan. We may improve, change or add features over time.

2. School accounts

• Only people registered by their school (principal, teachers, students, parents and staff) may use that school's app.
• Keep your User ID and password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell your school or us at once if you think it was misused.
• The school is responsible for the information it adds, for giving access only to the right people, and for any consents needed from parents or staff.

3. Acceptable use

Do not try to access other schools' or other users' data, break or overload the service, upload harmful or illegal content, or copy or resell the software.

4. Live demo

The live demo uses a sample school with made-up data. It is read-only and may be changed or reset at any time.

5. Free trial, plans and payment

• New schools may get a free trial (normally 10 days). When it ends, the school account is paused until a plan is chosen.
• Fees are as agreed in the school's quote or invoice. Unpaid accounts may be paused after notice; data is not deleted because of a pause.
• Fee payments made by parents to the school are processed by our payment partner and are subject to its terms.

6. Data

The school owns its data. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. A school can ask for an export of its data during the subscription and for a limited time after it ends.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We will try to give notice of planned maintenance.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to a school is limited to the fees it paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending use

A school may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or are not paid for, after notice where possible.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
